The Run has better driving and storyline. The gameplay style is not as preferred as Rivals, but imo it's much better executed for what it is. The Rivals has much better graphics and cops, and it's free roam. The driving is leagues below though, but it has more choices in gameplay, like you can be a cop and a racer.

The graphics suck because of the useless and over rated frostbite engine. I hated a lot especially on BF3 since the game has that gritty black and dark filter. Need For Speed Rivals is available now for the PlayStation 4. The game releases for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 19, 2013, with the Xbox One arriving November 22. The question clearly says it.
