fuel rail relieve valve (pressure regulator) faulty. either you are getting the wrong reading from the sensor and the ECU is shutting down. or. the pressure regulator is not maintaining the correct pressure. you need to have a manual fuel pressure gauge, or just swap out the sensor as they are not expensive.
I think I've got a wiring/connection issue with my 2010 fiesta 1.6 diesel (95 bhp). From time to time during normal driving the engine stalls and a P0251-13 code shows up on my OBD scanner. This code refers to an open circuit in the fuel inlet metering valve. I think my problem is probably caused by a bad connection to the ecu rather than to hello again! After the write, sucefully!! , and erased all DTC's, still have the same errors (with ECU connected to EGR) and the car still in limp mode!: P1412 - EGR Valve Frozen. P0490 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit High. P042F - EGR Control Stuck Closed.

The problems began last winter, when the car would occasionally start up in limp mode on cold mornings. Normally, this was solved by shutting off

Posted October 2, 2016. according to your cover its the end red 50amp fuse, could be the relay at fault , wiring from fan module to pcm, fan module, fan, etc. . put your reg into www.ford.etis and check for outstanding recall. was one for fan module issues, i can see thats not been done on your car ( extra wiring, connector in fusebox) Quote. 2. Flashing via OBD is fine, I did some research on it after our last chat and the only issues are around cloned devices, if you think about it that kinda makes sense, ford VCM II can do anything via the OBD. Hi folks, I have a MK2.5 Focus, 1.6 TDCi from 2010. It's the pre-DPF model. It has developed recently an annoying fault, whereby when I am driving along regardless of speed or engine load. The centre screen pops up with 'Engine Malfunction!' when it does this the car makes the alarm noise like yo

The official way is to insert a sleeve into the connector hole with a smaller diameter hole in the centre to guide a drill bit. Maybe you could improvise with a bunch of washers.

However his car would not rev at all in response to pressing the pedal down, the pedal pot had two tracks inside it which send a precise amount of voltage to tell the ECU how far the pedal is being depressed, the ECU then with the various readings determines the fuel and air ratio and adjust the fueling as required.
